A history class disguised as a carnival

A history class disguised as a carnival

On Tuesday of Carnival  Montfort students wanted to share their enthusiasm and learning desire with their teachers and families. Illusion to wear their carnival clothes, to act and speak in public. Their passion for aquiring knowledge and demosnstrate it, has been an occasion to show what they have worked in class.

The thread of 2017  carnival festival has been the history of the 20th century, and thus they gave us a true history class in a fun way, where represented mini plays and musicals in which they have talked about fashion,  cinema, theater, bios of great historic characters that shaped our 20th century such as Martin Luther King, of the Beatles, Elvis Prestley, Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, among others. We have also had a short play of the Lion King, the traditional chirigotas, the arrival of man to the moon, the cold war, the hippie movement in the 60s, and even a representation of the “bad guys” of the most famous films of the last century.

We hereby congratulate the students, teachers, Chief of studies and families for this colorful and enjoyable carnival that they have offered to us. All truly tribute to a centuries-old tradition such as carnival from an academic and very funny point of view!
