Letter from our new Principal

Letter from our new Principal

Dear families, teachers and students:

With the greatest enthusiasm I have received from our President D. Jesús Núñez the exciting mission of being the new Principal of  Montfort School , and I´d like to introduce  myself to you.
My name is Alberto Bolívar Titos, I’m Spanish, and I’m 53 years old.
All my professional career of more than 25 years I have been devoted in body and soul to education, which represents my deepest vocation and highest vital motivation.
After graduating in Hispanic Philology at the University of Alcalá de Henares, I worked for seven years in Martin Luther University in Germany with students of the equivalent of our master’s degree. Later I was selected by the German government as a trainer and advisor of German schools in Central America and Mexico for two years. The following eight years I was director of the German School in Puebla, Mexico. I also completed a Master’s Degree in Quality Systems Administration with the aim of improving the quality of educational processes and increasing the satisfaction of parents and students.
For personal reasons I returned to Spain with my family and since 2008 I have assesed the quality processes of different entities through the Luis Vives Foundation. I have also been an expert advisor of a German company for the development of educational management software.
Since 2011 I have been Director in an important school in Madrid. These years have helped me to continue improving my skills and professional competences in such important areas as bilingualism, innovation, new technologies and pedagogical quality.
I have never left teaching, and in my two stages of directing I have taught Language and Literature and Latin. I also carried out a postgraduate course in the management of educational centers to face with the best professional tools and competences the transformation that education needs in the face of the demands of the 21st century. I am also a professor in the Master’s Degree in Teacher Training at the University Alfonso X el Sabio.
I begin this new stage of my professional life as a great challenge, full of enthusiasm and with the commitment to parents, students and teachers to put our beloved school at the top of education, both nationally and internationally.

Education is a partnership between the school, students, parents/guardians, and community. Communication is a vital component of a successful educational experience.  Together, we will continue to improve the quality of our school community and provide the best for the children of Montfort school.  All children are more successful when we work as a team to achieve educational goals.
Count on me! I count with all of you!

Alberto Bolivar Titos.
